Who is this guide for?
It is for sons and daughters looking ahead for their parents, and for older people who would like to choose for themselves. Many prefer a place they can reach easily from home in the east.
A note on the name
Different pages write the name differently: 天灵总道堂, Thian Leng Temple or Tian Ling Temple. We use 天灵总道堂 (Thian Leng Chong Toh Tong) for now and will update it once confirmed.
Niche or ancestral tablet?
A niche (骨灰位 or 福位) holds the urn of ashes. An ancestral tablet (神主牌) carries the name of the departed for the family to pay respects; it does not hold ashes. See our guide to niches vs ancestral tablets.
